Full House Intro Parodies refer to videos in which people reenact the intro to the American sitcom Full House using the theme song “Everywhere You Look” by Jesse Frederick. The parodies began in 2010 on YouTube and typically involved each featured "character" turning to the camera and smiling or waving. The trend carried onto TikTok in March 2020.

Origin

On May 4th, 2010, YouTube user Kenny Condon uploaded the first known Full House Parody of his frat house members (shown below). The video garnered over 2,400 views in 10 years.

Spread

On July 25th, 2010, YouTuber beesee246 uploaded "Full House Intro Parody" which gained over 33,600 views in 10 years (shown below, left). On August 8th, 2014 YouTuber New Route uploaded another parody using the hashtag #FullHousing (shown below, right). The video received over 30,800 views in six years.

In March 2020, TikTokers began using the sound clip published by sirfishwad to create Full House parodies. On March 19th, TikToker @amandaseavers uploaded a parody with her family which garnered over 1.7 million likes in two weeks (shown below, left). The next day, TikTokers @keepitonthedownlo and @chandlerverse uploaded parodies which received over 938,000 likes and 22,000 likes respectively in two weeks (shown below, right). StayHipp^[1] published an article on TikTok Full House parodies.
