About

Glaggleland Anthem is a sped-up version of a song cover by Instagram musician Javier Antono (@hojitamusical). The song has been used in several fan videos.

Origin

The song is a sped-up cover of a portion the 1981 song Un Día A La Vez by the norteño music group Los Tigres Del Norte.[1] On January 10th, 2023, the Instagram account dusttodigital posted a video[2] of Javier Antono[3] playing a cover of the song using a leaf as a musical instrument (shown below). The video received over 2.3 million views and over 164,000 likes in over one year.



On April 24th, 2023, TikTok user crabstyxx posted a sped up, higher pitched version of the audio and titled it as "glaggle song extended version" (shown below).[4] The song received over 525,000 views and over 56,000 likes in over nine months. The song was reuploaded to YouTube by Azure on April 27th, 2023, where it received over 1.2 million views in over nine months.[5]
