Google Screaming Ad Parodies is a remix video series featuring a loud trap song taken from a Google search advertisement dubbed over various other videos.

Oirigin

On October 31st, 2016, the Google YouTube channel uploaded an ad titled "Google Search: Ice cream nearby," featuring an electronic song played over a GIF of an excited baby reacting to being given an ice cream cone (shown below). Within two months, the video gained over 40,700 views, 1,200 dislikes and 600 likes.



Spread

On December 29th, 2016, YouTuber BigMane posted an "ear rape" remix of the Google ad (shown below, left). On December 30th, YouTuber Peas uploaded a ""We Are Number One"": remix dubbed with text-to-speech and audio from the Google ad (shown below, right).



On January 2nd, YouTuber ceezy uploaded a compilation of remixes featuring the trap song from the Google ad (shown below, left). The following day, YouTuber Stopify posted a "Let It Grow" Google ad remix (shown below, right). Also on January 3rd, Redditor Nathanyal submitted a post asking about the origin of the video remix series on /r/OutOfTheLoop.[2]



On January 8th, YouTuber grandayy posted a TheLegend27 remix featuring audio from the Google ad (shown below, left). That day, YouTuber Immoral Support uploaded footage from the game Titanfall 2 with the trap song playing in the background. That day, the video was submitted to the /r/titanfall subreddit.[1]
