Starting in September 5th of 2024, it is a free service, with no registration necessary, although the waiting list tends to be expansive

History

On September 3rd 2024, an article was published in Technode^[2] about MiniMax's new video generation model, one of the many ever since OpenAI's Sora entered the scene, it currently can only use text to create new videos, according to MiniMax founder Yan Junjie, with functions including image-to-video expected in future iterations
