About

Hayden Christensen Said 6 Words at Star Wars Celebration and Sent the Crowd Wild refers to a series of memes based on a clickbait tweet by IGN which imagine things that actor Hayden Christensen might have said at the Star Wars Celebration event to excite the crowd. Christensen originally said "This is where the fun begins," a line from a viral Prequel meme his character Anakin Skywalker says in the second movie.

Origin

On May 26th, 2022, actors Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor were interviewed[1] at the Star Wards Celebration event ahead of the premiere of the 2022 TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi set in the Star Wars universe. During the interview, Christensen, responding to a question, quoted a famous line said by his character Anakin Skywalker, "This is where the fun begins," which is also a prominent Prequel meme. The crowd reacted to the line with a prolonged round of excited applause.

On May 27th, 2022, the entertainment news website IGN tweeted[2] the clip from the interview, with the post gaining over 185,600 views, 1,300 retweets and 7,500 likes in four days (shown below).

Later that day, IGN[3] published the article about Christensen quoting the meme and the crowd's reaction. IGN then posted a clickbait tweet[4] linking the article that read, "Hayden Christensen said 6 words at Star Wars Celebration and sent the crowd wild" (shown below). The tweet gained over 550 retweets, 2,000 quote tweets and 12,600 likes in four days.
