About

Hellmaxxing is a fictional Tiktok trend invented by Twitter user @wormwood_stars that supposedly sees teens committing "so many sins the devil won't have them." The post satirizes the wave of mischievous TikTok trends like Devious Licks and Beaning that grew popular in the summer and autumn of 2021. After @wormwood_stars posted a doctored screenshot of an article explaining hellmaxxing, some fell for the hoax, while others joked about the concept.
