On July 16th, 2020, Cavill posted a video of his build on Instagram. The post received more than 3.4 million views and 807,000 likes in less than two days (shown below).
Precursor
On December 18th, 2019, NME[1] YouTube channel posted an interview with actor Henry Cavill about the upcoming The Witcher Netflix series. In the interview, Cavill talked about playing The Witcher game series and being a fan of the franchise and admitted to being an avid PC gamer, launching the Gamer Henry Cavill meme.

The video quickly went viral, appearing on various platforms. That day, Redditor[1] originalClown shared the video on the /r/pcmasterrace subreddit. the post received more than 50,000 points (94% upvoted) and 1,900 comments in less than 24 hours. Redditor[3] GuitarXxX shared a screenshot of the video in the /r/Amd subreddit, where the image received more than 16,000 points (94% upvoted) in less than 24 hours (shown below, left).
The following day, Redditor[2] GarooSama shared a variation of the Geralt's "Fuck" meme about the build. The post received more than 570 points (98% upvoted) in less than 24 hours (shown below, right).
Some posted memes about the build. For example, the Facebook [4] account for Tierra Gamer posted a meme of the Dragon Ball character Master Roshi watching the build. The post received more than 2,700 reactions and 1,300 shares in less than 24 hours (shown below).
