The facts: The following is known about unused content in Hotel Mario The Missing Number In the game's files, the hotels are numbered. However, the hotel number 6 is missing. The game proceeds from Ludwig's hotel, number 5, straight to Wendy's hotel, number 7. While the intro mentions "seven Koopa hotels", Bowser's final hotel is number 8. The Cheese Hotel According to a 2007 interview with the game's background artist, Trici Venola, she clearly remembers a rejected design for a hotel in the game based on cheese, which was conceptualized by a person who was fired from the position before she was hired for it. The speculation: + ource: web.archive.org/web/2007121015455plackmoon classigaming gamespp.com/interviewsrivenola home for nettone Mario No Hotel for Iggy Iggy is the only Koopaling that doesn't have his own hotel. Instead, he is battled as a miniboss before the final Bowser battle. As in the vast majority of Koopalings' appearances, they each have their own levels, this raises suspicion that Iggy was planned to have a hotel. Could all these factors be connected? It is possible that Iggy was planned to be in charge of the cheese hotel After the concept was rejected, not enough time could have remained to make a new hotel, leading to the gap.
