About

I Can't Decide (Song) is a song by the alternative rock group Scissor Sisters. The song, released in September 2006, has been used as an animation meme called X Can't Decide on YouTube since 2011, in which various characters act out the lyrics of the song.

Origin

The song "I Can't Decide" first appeared on Scissor Sisters' album Ta-Dah, which was released on September 15th, 2006.[1] The song (shown below) was posted to the official Scissor Sisters YouTube channel on July 31st, 2018, and never had an accompanying music video. Spread

Two Source Filmmaker videos using the song were posted to YouTube[2] in late 2011 by ZavCoyote. One, titled "Spy Can't Decide" uses Spy from Team Fortress 2. The other, titled "Pinkie Pie Can't Decide" used Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. However, both videos have long since been deleted along with the user's channel and only two reuploads are known to exist (shown below).

On October 31st, 2013, YouTube user VivaReverie posted an animated music video of the song using Pinkie Pie and events from the Cupcakes fanfic. The video (shown below, left) received over 7.8 million views in nearly nine years. On April 16th, 2014, the music from Viva Reverie's video was dubbed over using voice lines by Magpiepony and posted to YouTube (shown below, right). The dubbed-over video received over 43.3 million views in over eight years.
