CAN'T GET THE CAP OFF

About

"I CAN'T GET THE CAP OFF" is a line uttered by the character Taylor, in the movie Cyberbu//y. Taylor says the line while her character has difficulty removing a childproof cap on a pill bottle. The quote has become popular online due to the over dramatization of the scene and the absurdity of the situation.

Origin

Cyberbu//y is an ABC Family original movie about a girl named Taylor Hillridge, who, soon after receiving her own computer, becomes a victim of cyberbullying on a popular social networking site known as "cliquester".

In one scene, Taylor attempts to commit suicide after having been tormented by online bullies after her "cliquester" account is hacked. She posts a video online explaining her suicide. She is caught in the act of attempting suicide before downing a bottle of pills. She then exclaims, "I CAN'T GET THE CAP OFF", while her friend walks in on her in the bathroom, trying to twist the cap off on a bottle of pills.

I like how the writers thought they were making an emotional and tragic scene when we all just ended up finding the line inappropriate and hilarious.

My God, are we just turning into an extension of 4chan?
