On April 12th, 2023, TikToker[3] @superkeara posted a video explaining the trend. She goes on to point out that most of the videos of the trend are posted inside the musician's car followed by the phrase "Guys, I think I wrote the song of the summer." The post garnered 1.1 million plays and 324,000 likes in one day (seen below).

TikTok[5] user @sweetfellas decided to post a sarcastic video mocking the musicians promoting their songs. The video (seen below, right), uploaded on April 12th, garnered 1,000 plays and 106 likes in a day.
