If You Find This Woman Attractive, You’re High IQ is a copypasta that emerged on Twitter / X in early May 2024 as a parody of a tweet breathlessly praising the beauty of actress Anne Hathaway. As the tweet spread, its text was copied and reposted with humorous images on the site.

Origin

On May 6th, 2024, Twitter user @cleoBug101^[1] posted a tweet praising the beauty of Anne Hathaway, writing, "If you find this woman attractive, you're high IQ. I can't explain why, but she's beautiful in a way the simple mind would overlook. Understated beauty." The tweet gained over 1,400 retweets, 2,100 likes and 1,300 quote tweets in two days (shown below).

Spread

The tweet inspired widespread mockery on the app. On May 7th, 2024, Twitter user @AlShipley^[2] posted a comparison between the tweet and a copypasta mocking J. Cole fans, gaining over 160 likes in one day (shown below, left). On May 8th, Twitter user @baddestmamajama^[3] pointed out that Hathaway perfectly fits the conventional standard of beauty, gaining over 330 likes in a matter of hours (shown below, right).

The phrase also became a copypasta with which people posted humorous pictures. For example, on May 6th, Twitter user @theblackhatnft^[4] posted it with a photo of Wifejak, gaining over 20 likes in two days (shown below, left). On the 7th, Twitter user @eigenrobot^[5] posted the copypasta with a picture of a woman that had four breasts, gaining over 510 likes in one day (shown below, right).
