About

I'm Not Fuckin' Dying For X, also known as I'm Not Fuckin Dying For Israel, refers to an image macro meme featuring a grainy film photo of a shirtless man shooting a MAC-10 gun while drinking a Budweiser. The image is often used to represent nationalist and isolationist American values, with an indifferent message typically being printed across the image in a Serif font. The image was originally posted by an Old Row (traditional Southern fraternity) social media page on Twitter / X in 2016, with a Floridian woman making a 2017 post claiming the man to be her father, Duffield Matson. In 2025, alternate versions of the image with a variety of messages, typically leaning conservative, began making the rounds on Twitter / X and Instagram, some featuring recaptions. Another prominent variation of the meme reads, "We're not fuckin selling the land," in response to Senator Mike Lee's attempts to advocate for the sale of federally protected public land.
