"It's Hard to Argue With His Assessment" is a memorable quote uttered by the character Tyrion Lannister on the fantasy television series Game of Thrones. Online, screenshots of the scene in which he says the line has been used in a series of reaction image macros.
Origin
On April 29th, 2012, the episode of Game of Thrones "The Ghosts of Harrenhal" aired on HBO.[1] In the episode, Tyrion and Bronn (portrayed by Peter Dinklage and Jerome Flynn) approach a man ranting about Tyrion's brother, sister and nephew. The man yells, "Brother fornicates with sister in the bed of kings. Are we surprised when the fruit of their incest is rotten? Yes. A rotten king." Tyrion responds, "It's hard to argue with his assessment" (clip below).

Years later, on February 16th, 2020, Redditor [3] mijuzz7 posted the image as a response to a tweet that reads, "unlike murder, rape is unjustifiable u will die of old age before u find a justifiable reason to rape; but I can name multiple situations in which murder is justifiable. for example, murdering a rapist." The post received more than 35,000 points (94% upvoted) and 300 comments in less than one month (shown below, left).
That day, Redditor[4] prestidigitator97 shared a variation as a reaction to an image of text that reads "Not all goodbyes are sad. Example: Goodbye, class." The post received more than 27,000 points (97% upvoted) in less than one month (shown below, center).
On February 22nd, 2020, Redditor [2] prestidigitator97 posted the image as a reaction to the shower thought "You don't actually know what day you were born, you're just taking everyone's word for it." The post received more than 21,000 points (93% upvoted) and 90 comments in less than one month (shown below, right).
