About

I've Got Nothing Left refers to a line said by Ian Beale, a character on the BBC British television soap opera EastEnders where he cries heavily over the loss of Lucy Beale, his daughter.

Origin

As part of a storyline leading up to the show's 30th anniversary, EastEnders producers had planned a whodunnit storyline where long standing character Lucy Beale would be murdered triggering a murder mystery storyline[1]. On the programme dated 26 April 2014, Ian finds out that his daughter Lucy has died after being hut by a blunt object. After finding out, Phil Mitchell comes to comfort Ian and he breaks down and cries and then said to Phil: "I've got nothing left", refering that he has lost another member of his family.

Spread

After the episode had aired, it spawned various remix videos and parody videos with songs from the likes of Celine Deon being parodied. Many had uploaded them to YouTube with some getting as much as views over 280,600 views and over 1,000 likes.
