Jack Black Tosses a Peach is an exploitable meme format taken from the music video for the song "Peaches" that appears in the 2023 Super Mario Bros. Movie. In the clip, Jack Black, dressed as Bowser, tosses a peach towards the camera, leading to edits in which Black tosses other things with different dialogue.
Origin
The music video is of the song Peaches from the 2023 Super Mario Bros. Movie. On April 7th, 2023, a music video of Jack Black playing the piano and singing the song was posted to YouTube by Lyrical Lemonade. The music video[1] (shown below) received over 6 million views in over four days. The video was also posted to the @supermariomovie Twitter account the same day.[2]
In part of the music video, Jack Black tosses a peach toward the camera. On April 7th, 2023, a clip was made of the scene and posted to Twitter by CaldersLol[3] (shown below).

Over the following days, the clip inspired edits in which Black tosses other items towards the camera, sometimes with different dialogue. On April 14th, 2023, Twitter user SoftyBoye posted an edit using a scene from Yakuza, gaining over 230 retweets and 810 likes in less than one week (shown below, top). On April 11th, user @Maroof_64 posted a Super Smash Brothers Ultimate edit that gained over 1,000 retweets and 7,600 likes in one week (shown below, bottom).
