Knuckles Likes Grapes refers to a series of memes and fan art referencing Sonic the Hedgehog's Knuckles' love for grapes. Grapes were revealed as Knuckles' favorite food in the instruction manual for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, released in 1994 on the Sega Genesis. In April 2022, memes and fan art referencing Knuckles' love for grapes increased after it was mentioned in an interview with the characters on a kids' YouTube channel.

On Knuckles' introductory page in the manual^[1] for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, released on February 2nd, 1994, it mentions how Knuckles' favorite food is fruit, especially grapes (shown below). The fact is occasionally shared by Sonic fans and pages. For example, on September 25th, 2021, Twitter^[4] page semifreqsonic posted a fact about the grapes, showing them in the trees on the Sky Sanctuary zone in Sonic Generations, gaining over 1,900 likes in a year.

Dr. Robotnik's Death Egg has lost its ability to fly after crash landing on the island. Having learned that The Chaos Emeralds can make his ship fly again, the Doc decides to steal the emeralds. But first, he must make Knuckles believe that Sonic and Tails are his enemies, and that they're the ones trying to steal the emeralds. Knuckles' love for grapes has been occasionally referenced in fan art and content throughout the 2010s. On June 26th, 2017, Deviant Art^[8] user splushmaster12 posted a piece of art showing Knuckles picking grapes, gaining over 1,000 views and 220 favorites in five years (shown below).

On March 28th, 2022, the kids' YouTube^[2] channel CKN posted an interview with the characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie to promote the film. At the 1:22 minute mark, the interviewer asks Knuckles how he's enjoying earth to which he answers, "Your society is full of soft and undisciplined weaklings, however, I do enjoy the planet's grapes. The grapes are delicious" (shown below). The video gained over 1.7 million views in a month. The scene was clipped and reuploaded to YouTube^[3] by Meme Lord the next day, gaining over 1.9 million views in the same span of time.

The interview inspired an increase in fan art and memes referencing Knuckles' love of grapes. On March 29th, YouTuber^[5] Super Gotails Animations posted an animation set to the audio, gaining over 60,000 views in under a month (shown below, left). On April 5th, YouTuber^[6] Sonic David posted a stop motion video referencing his love of grapes, gaining over 214,000 views in two weeks (shown below, right).

On April 6th, Twitter^[7] user @DarkNoiseUK posted a piece of art showing Idris Elba pushing Knuckles in a shopping cart full of grapes, gaining over 1,100 likes in two weeks (shown below).
