Liverpool's McDonald's Kits refer to a new uniform, or "kit," revealed by Liverpool Football Club in September of 2021. The kit is primarily yellow with red embellishments, causing fans to note that it was reminiscent of the color scheme for the fast-food chain McDonald's.
Origin
On September 8th, 2021, Liverpool revealed on Twitter the new kits they'll wear during the 2021/22 football season. The kits are yellow with red embellishments (shown below).

Shortly after the video was posted, football fans began to joke about how the kits were reminiscent of the color scheme for McDonald's. User @TrollFootball[1] posted a joke that placed Ronald McDonald next to three Liverpool players, gaining over 2,700 retweets and 15,000 likes (shown below, left). User @Westywwfc[2] posted a similar joke, gaining over 240 retweets and 1,200 likes (shown below, right). Jokes about the kits were covered by indy100.[3]
