The TikTok gained over 23 million views and 2 million likes in three weeks (shown below; relevant clip at 1:00).

On December 29th, 2022, the clip was isolated by the account @funnymeeeeeeemes, gaining over 2.3 million views and 68,000 likes in two weeks (shown below).

The video gained virality on Twitter on January 5th, 2023 after user @prstskrzkrk posted it, gaining over 33,000 retweets and 330,000 likes. Their crop of the clip helped the video gain an additional 17.9 million views on Twitter in one week (shown below). After trending on Twitter, the video was covered by Digg^[3] and the Daily Star.^[4]
