Miss Minutes refers to the character in the Disney+ show Loki. After she appears in the opening sequence of episode six, titled "For The Time. Always," with a jump scare, the scene became the subject of memes. The Miss Minutes character appears in multiple episodes of Loki as a helpful and studious attendant, but the character slowly starts to become suspicious with hints of sinister intent that are eventually revealed with the jump scare.

Origin

The character itself serves as an odd representation of how chaotic the multiverse is within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Within the episode that features the Miss Minutes Jump Scare, Loki and Sylvie are entering the citadel of "He Who Remains" when the camera pans to an empty doorway that Miss Minutes suddenly appears in. An example of the scene was posted to YouTube^[1] by JF Clips on July 14th, 2021, accumulating over 300,000 views in six days (shown below).

In July 2021, some YouTubers were reacting to the character or making memes out of her. For example, YouTuber JaydenTube^[2] posted a video of FlightReacts when seeing the jumpscare (shown below, left). On July 18th, YouTuber^[3] LBUCKLY posted a meme compilation (shown below, right).
