My Son He Has Every Disease is a copypasta used primarily on Twitter as a caption for pictures of cute, albeit often physically strange characters. The catchphrase and format were popularized in late 2021 and continued into the summer of 2022.

Origin

The sentence originates from a comment left on a November 5th, 2021, YouTube video showing the Crumploid Gyroid from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The video^[1] (shown below, left) was posted by YouTuber phi and the comment was left by YouTuber Bingo Bongo, who wrote, "my son crump he has every disease" (shown below, right).

On November 16th, 2021, Twitter user @judemintea^[2] posted screenshots of the comments on the "CRUMPLOID" video, including Bingo Bongo's "he has every disease" comment, gaining over 1,800 retweets and 4,500 likes in roughly eight months (shown below, left). This inspired others to post pictures of cute but bizarre-looking characters with the caption "my son crump he has every disease." For example, on December 3rd, 2021, Twitter user @fiddlepie^[3] posted the caption with pictures of a slug-like creature, gaining over 4,600 retweets and 34,000 likes in seven months (shown below, right).

The copypasta continued seeing usage into the summer of 2022, though over time, the "Crump" name was largely dropped. On July 27th, 2022, user @UltimaShadowX^[4] used the copypasta with a picture of Klonoa, gaining over 930 retweets and 7,500 likes in one day (shown below, left). On July 24th, Twitter user @frutydalei^[5] used it to refer to a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure character (shown below, right).
