Nah, They Acting Like Nothing Even Happened is a series of image macro memes in which a variation of the catchphrase, "Nah, they actin' like nothing even happened," is added as a caption to an image of actors who play enemies in a show or movie casually hanging out behind the scenes or off the set. The meme first appeared as early as September 2022 on the /r/BetterCallSaul subreddit and spread over the following years to sites like iFunny, X / Twitter, Instagram and more.
Origin
On September 7th, 2022, Redditor shiiiiiiizaa posted a photograph to the /r/betterCallSaul[1] subreddit showing actors Tony Dalton, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks and Patrick Fabian, who appear respectively as Lalo, Gus Fring, Mike Ehrmantraut and Howard Hamlin in Better Call Saul, titled, "wtf, they acting like nothing happened," garnering over 3,900 upvotes in four years. The post references the fact that the characters they play in Better Call Saul don't necessarily have friendly relationships in the show.
On December 27th, iFunny[2] user Totee posted a similar meme using a Snapchat banner for the caption, showing a photo of Bryan Cranston and Dean Norris, who played Walter White and Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, standing together and smiling, garnering over 5,900 smiles in four years. The Snapchat banner format became the most popular version of the meme going forward.

On July 25th, 2024, Tumblr[3] user huyandere posted a version of the meme using a piece of One Piece fan art showing Luffy posing with Buggy the Clown, garnering over 16,000 Notes in two years.
On April 21st, 2025, Instagram[4] user houseofgaming posted a version of the meme using a photo of Pedro Pascal with Kaitlyn Dever, who play the characters Joel and Abby in The Last Of Us TV series, garnering over 59,000 likes in 10 months.
On January 31st, 2026, Instagram[5] user 111011am posted a version of the meme using a behind-the-scenes photo from Stranger Things of Vecna talking to Eleven, garnering over 6,500 likes in about a week.
