About

NFL on Fox Theme Song refers to a piece of music which plays during FOX broadcasts of the National Football League. It has appeared in various YouTube and YouTube Poop remixes.

Origin

The NFL on Fox theme song was composed by Scott Schreer in 1994 in two days.[1] He was instructed by Fox Sports creative director George Greenberg to compose the song. Greenberg was given the direction by Fox Sports president David Hill to find a song which sounds like "Batman plays Football." Schreer was able to quickly assemble a 48-piece orchestra with his own money to record three different ideas. Hill suggested splicing the intro of the first idea with the body of the second, resulting in the final product. It was uploaded in 2009 by TheLastDayOftheYear where it gained over 3.2 million views (shown below).
