Nigga Beatin' Off On Black Ops 1 is a viral video uploaded to YouTube by user TacoDispenser consisting of a recording of a player rapidly changing their custom class in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops to make it look like their character is stroking their gun as if masturbating. The video was uploaded on May 29th, 2016, and garnered over 1.7 million views over the next nine years. On April 7th, 2025, the video was suddenly deleted by YouTube's moderation team after a screenshot of it posted by X / Twitter user @NintendoGCN went viral, inspiring reactions and backlash as some began calling it "lost media."

Origin

On May 29th, 2016, YouTuber^[1] TACODISPENSER uploaded a now-deleted video titled "nigga beatin off on Black Ops 1," garnering over 1.7 million views in nine years. The video is a recording of a COD Black Ops player switching their custom classes quickly to make it look like their character is masturbating the gun. On February 14th, 2021, it was reuploaded by YouTuber^[2] fn.

Spread

On February 13th, 2025, TikToker^[3] @bhadbrodie reposted the original video with the added caption, "NEW GENS WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MISSED OUT ON," garnering over 1.7 million views in a month.

Deletion Of Video

On April 6th, 2025, X^[4] user @NintendoGCN posted a screenshot of their YouTube recommendations, showing the video "Pie rapes Peter" next to "Nigga beatin off on Black Ops 1," writing, "My YouTube recommendations is looking really good right now," garnering over 52,000 likes and 2,800 reposts in a day.

Later that same day, X^[5] user @shitfartnigga07 posted, "Nigga beatin off on black ops 1," garnering over 986,000 views, 19,000 likes and 90 replies in a day.

On the morning of April 7th, the official @TeamYouTube X^[6] account replied to @NintendoGCN's post, writing, "Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we'll inform the relevant teams." The poster responded, "No you guys are good please keep it like that," garnering over 4,800 likes in the same span of time.

The video was subsequently deleted that day. X^[7] user @smoove2_ commented to @NintendoGCN shortly after, sharing a screenshot showing that the video has been deleted, garnering over 1,000 likes in under a day.

Later on April 7th, 2025, X^[8] user @el_bobberto quote-reposted @smoove2_, writing, "ITS GONE NIGGA BEATIN OFF ON BLACK OPS 1 IS LOST MEDIA," garnering over 12,000 likes in under a day. Technically, however, the video is not lost media as there are reuploads, one of which the user also shared in their post.
