Nothing Wacky Going On Here, Keep Scrolling is a catchphrase used in image macro memes that's connected to Dogelore through its continual use by Cheems as part of illegal activities. The usage of the phrase has undergone little change since its inception, with it being used on commonly joked-about activities online, such as tax fraud and Fedposting.

Origin

On July 28th, 2020, Instagram user Cheemsitz^[1] uploaded an image of Cheems with the phrase "NOTHING WACKY GOING ON HERE" in the top text and "KEEP SCROLLING" being the bottom text, giving the illusion as if the person scrolling through a newsfeed stumbled upon Cheems doing tax evasion as a box labeled "taxes" can be seen next to a paper shredder (shown below).

Spread

On September 4th, 2020, the catchphrase was used again for another illicit activity, this time by iFunny user rostrumred^[2] with the image showing Cheems having a box, a can of gasoline and a large bag full of styrofoam packing peanuts, simulating some of the steps needed to create homemade napalm. The meme received over 10,000 upvotes in two years and inspired others to create similar memes (shown below).

The meme was further expanded upon on August 7th, 2022, with the Reddit post by u/Comrade_Baz^[3] on the /r/Dogelore subreddit, showing Cheems in an underground lab with a whiteboard depicting that he is trying to learn how to create plutonium. The meme, implying that he is trying to create a timed plutonium bomb, received over 2,000 upvotes in one year (shown below).
