About

"Oh no, Doctor Connors' Class" is a series of copypastas from the Spider-Man 2 video game utilized in Spider-Man related shitposting that were popularized by a series of videos made by ROCKCOCK64 on YouTube.

Origin

The quote originates from the Spider-Man 2 video game released in June 2004. Near the beginning of the game, Peter Parker as Spider-Man is given free roam through New York City. The first mission is to make it to Doctor Connors' class on time, which is emphasized in a quote spoken by Parker before having to get to class.

"Oh no, Doctor Connors' class.
I got so caught up in what I was doing I forgot all about it.
He's gonna Kill me."
Parker commenting about getting to his professor's class (10:00 in video)

Spread

On December 9th, 2011, YouTuber ROCKCOCK64 uploaded a video titled "peter whats wrong" to his channel. The video shows Spider-Man 2 gameplay at 50% speed, insinuating Peter Parker as high on marijuana. In the video, Parker is swinging around Lower West Side of New York before stating the quote.

ROCKCOCK64 would later go on and release more videos involving similar scenarios of Spider-Man being preoccupied before realizing he's going to be late for his professor's class and/or being in a high-like state during other Spider-Man games, a series he would compile in a playlist called "peter no."[1] "peter this has to stop," shown below, has over 100,000 views on YouTube as of February 17, 2017.

Copypasta posts

The quote itself has found its way outside of ROCKCOCK64's videos, made referenced to in other videos or being utilized in copypasta posts on Spider-Man related memes and videos in similar fashion as Sheev Posting or Bane Posting.
