On Sneednem refers to a series of video memes primarily using an image of the Simpsons characters from the Sneed's Feed and Seed scene crudely edited on top of a photo of rappers SpotemGottem and Pooh Shiesty, set to a sped-up remix of the song "Thankful" by The Spittah. The "hood" Sneed's Feed and Sneed images were paired with the phrase "On Sneednem," which combined "sneed" and the AAVE slang term "on foe nem." The original photoshop of SpotemGottem and Pooh Shiesty as the Sneed's Feed and Seed characters was shared on Twitter / X in 2021. It resurfaced on Instagram Reels in early 2025, when Instagram user @gemnigga created the On Sneednem meme.

On March 28th, 2021, Twitter / X ^[1] user @bartsimsonreal quote-tweeted a post from the account @SaycheeseDGTL, showing a photo of rappers SpotemGottem and Pooh Shiesty. @bartsimsonreal attached a crudely edited version of the tweet that replaced the men with the Sneed's Feed and Seed characters from The Simpsons. The caption was recaptioned to read, "Sneedemgottem & Chuck Shiesty linked up! feed it or seed it??!" Over four years, the post gained over 80 likes.

The abovementioned meme was reposted to sites like iFunny ^[2] in the following weeks.

On January 4th, 2025, Instagram^[3] user @gemnigga used the image in a bait-and-switch video that cut to it within the first few seconds, paired with a sped-up rap song. Over eight months, the Reel received over 1,700 likes.

The song used in the abovementioned video was called "Thankful" by The Spittah. It was released on YouTube^[4] on November 25th, 2022, gaining over 23,400 views in three years.

Later on January 4th, 2025, Instagram^[5] user @gemnigga shared another video following the same format as the first, gaining over 40,800 likes in eight months.

On January 5th, Instagram^[6] user @gemnigga shared another iteration that riffed on the I Bought a Property in Egypt meme, gaining over 18,700 likes in eight months.

On January 18th, 2025, YouTuber^[7] Sneed shared a "SNEED MIX" for The Spittah's "Thankful." The video's visuals used several On Sneedem images. Over eight months, the video received over 48,300 views.

The phrase "on sneednem" was first used by @gemnigga in an Instagram^[8] video shared on January 21st.

@gemnigga continued to share On Sneednem memes heading into late 2025. For instance, on August 24th, they shared a Reel on Instagram^[9] that exploited a clip from the reality TV show Britain's Got Talent, showing one of the On Sneednem characters performing "Thankful." Over one month, the video received over 47,400 likes. It was also reposted on TikTok^[10] in the following days.

On September 19th, 2025, TikToker^[11] @threemad shared a video of a male student wearing a backpack with the On Sneednem meme printed on it. Over three days, the video received roughly 34,600 likes.
