This meme was originated in 2011 by Baylor College of Dentistry student Evan Blackwell during his 2nd Year. The photo of the girl used was taken of Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona dental student Shawna Baxter. It caught on among the BCD students and spread by word of mouth and through the site quickmeme and has now had contributions made by dental students all across the country.
