Dean Withers is an American TikToker ^[1] and a liberal live streamer known for his political commentating against MAGA and Donald Trump supporters. Dean Withers as 4.6M followers on TikTok and 443,000 subscribers on YouTube as of November 2025^[2].

Career

Dean graduated from 'Grand Junction High School' in Grand Junction, Colorado in 2022 when he was a member at FBLA. Dean Withers started his content career in 2023 for challenging conservative viewpoints on societal issues through debates on TikTok.

Charlie Kirk Debate

On September 8th, 2024, YouTube channel^[3] 'Jubilee' posted a video called '1 Conservative vs 25 Liberal College Students' the video feature an American right-wing political activist, entrepreneur, and the ceo of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, talking to 25 Liberal College Students, the video gathered over 39 million views in a year (shown below).

On September 20th, 2024, YouTube^[4] channel Jubilee posted a video titled, Can 1 Woke Teen Survive 20 Trump Supporters? The video featured TikToker Dean Withers debating 20 Trump supporters. The video gathered over 4 million views in three days.

Jubilee also posted sections of the debate to its TikTok^[5] channel, the first of which gathered over 11 million views and 1 million likes in three days (shown below).

Some clips from the video went viral on TikTok and Twitter / X often calling him "woke" teen arguing and countering various conservative talking points. Dean and his fans would appear to Kirk's college campuses to debate him, often ignoring him (shown below)^[6].

Charlie Kirk Assassination

On September 10th, 2025, Charlie Kirk was fatally assassinated at Utah Valley University in his neck. Dean Withers was live on TikTok during that time^[7], Dean hearing about the situation, watched the close up video of Charlie Kirk and felt very disgusted and told people not to look up the close up of Kirk getting shot in his neck. Dean heard about Kirk's passing by Donald Trump on Truth Social and started crying live on streak with over 250,000 people watching him in tears live (shown below, left). A few minutes later, Dean ends the live and posts a Tiktok about how he's feeling for Charlie Kirk's passing, saying that his family was in attendance watching Kirk get shot, and saying that we need to end gun violence in America (shown below, right).

Him crying also received backlash from different people and responded as to why he cried, (shown below)^[7].
