Girthmaster, also known as Girthmasterr, is a male Australian OnlyFans model. His OF career started in the early 2020s, and he's most viral on his TikTok account @girthmasterr.real. Girthmaster predominantly went viral in early 2024 following a street interview with the Getahead App in which he revealed that he earns roughly $80,000 a month doing OnlyFans. The clip led to controversy in which female sex workers criticized Girthmaster. Memes and discourse about him also ensued on Twitter / X, specifically following a post from female rapper Cardi B about Girthmaster. Also, he was interviewed by Rolling Stone in April 2024.

Background

Girthmaster (real name unknown) is a 30-year-old OnlyFans creator from Australia. In an interview with Rolling Stone,^[1] he revealed that he started doing OnlyFans two years prior for "a little bit of beer money." Starting in late 2023, Girthmaster began earning over $40,000 a month which doubled in early 2024. Before OnlyFans, he worked a series of jobs like pizza delivery boy, baggage handler and furniture builder.

Online History

Girthmaster began his online presence on OnlyFans and X^[4] in 2021. However, he didn't reveal his face and persona until early 2024, initially on TikTok via video content. For instance, his first TikTok^[2] video was posted on February 8th, 2024, receiving over 489,300 plays and 6,700 likes in two months (shown below, left).

On February 11th, Girthmaster posted a TikTok^[3] in which he was with Jeffree Star, receiving over 48,500 plays and 460 likes in two months (shown below, right).

On March 29th, 2024, Girthmaster posted a TikTok^[5] with two other male film stars including Owen Gray, receiving over 1.1 million plays and 128,100 likes in a month (shown below).

Getahead Street Interview

On March 4th, 2024, the TikTok^[6] account @getahead.app posted a video in which they interviewed Girthmaster on the street. In the interview, Girthmaster revealed that he earned roughly $80,000 a month doing OnlyFans. Over one month, the video received roughly 4.6 million plays and 200,200 likes (shown below).

On April 21st, 2024, X^[7] user @closalvarado reposted the video, writing, "80K a month on OF?! Damn 👏🏽," receiving over 98.3 million views and 29,000 likes in three days (shown below).

In the video, Girthmaster discussed the double standard of the public's perception of male OnlyFans models vs. female OnlyFans models. Many X users noted the difference in viral quotes, like X^[8] user @smoke_nd_pearlz on April 21st, who said, "It’s always interesting seeing men do OF because, like he said, they don’t get much backlash for doing it. I see straight men in the comments cheering him on too. Very very interesting lol," receiving over 54,000 likes in three days (shown below, left).

On April 22nd, 2024, X^[9] user @marionumber4 posted a quote that included a Yes Chad Wojak Comic that followed the I Don't Believe In That Nonsense format. The tweet received over 68,000 likes in two days (shown below, right).

Memes and other content about Girthmaster then surfaced, like a tweet shared by X^[10] user @Hidden_0723 on April 23rd, 2024, that read, "Girthmaster finding out he's trending on gay Twitter," receiving over 18,000 likes in a day (shown below).
