About

JustinRPG, real name "Justin Coolidge," is an internet personality known for a history of posts and content (including songs and photoshops) claiming to be married to the Pokemon Reshiram, among other fictional characters. He was the target of trolling attempts in the early 2010s by users looking to make him a lolcow, but none have been significantly successful.

Online History

Facebook Presence

JustinRPG was very active on Facebook in the early 2010s, where he posted a number of photoshops and artwork (typically Pokemon related) and regularly posted about his marriage to Reshiram. It was on Facebook that he announced their marriage "officially" with a photoshopped image which was also posted to his now-deleted DeviantArt page (shown below).

Justin's Facebook page was inactive for a number of years before being updated in 2016 with a number of sexual roleplay featuring Pokemon (shown below).

Vorarephilia

JustinRPG is a known voraphile, and frequently posted on the vorarephilia forum Eka's Portal under the username JustinRPG as recently as May of 2020. His earliest post on the forum^[1] dates back to April 25th, 2008, and is a request for an artist to draw Final Fantasy's Sephiroth swallowing a shrunken Cloud. Justin's post signature on the site includes a photoshopped image of himself in the stomach of Reshiram (shown below).

Justin was also the owner of the now banned account Moltres Rider^[7] on Pokecommunity.com.

Music

In 2011, JustinRPG released his first album, "Linear Pair of Angles," including uploading the tracks to YouTube, where the algorithm began recommending them. The album artwork is a photoshopped version of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" with Justin's face crudely pasted overtop. Justin released three other albums that year,^[2] "Linear Pair of Angles II," "Linear Pair of Angles II," and "Substance" (album artwork shown below). The album consists of Justin singing over original and stolen beats about topics like Reshiram, Pokemon, and being a furry among other things.

Although the original uploads have been removed, users have re-uploaded the majority of Justin's music to the web. For example, on November 9th, 2012, SENTIENT re-uploaded Justin's song "Stuck In Lugia's Stomach Alone" to YouTube,^[16] garnering over 153,000 views in 8 years (shown below).

On May 12th, 2014, I'm In That Weird Part Of Youtube Again re-uploaded the song "I Love Reshiram" to YouTube,^[3] garnering over 323,000 views in 6 years (shown below, left). On December 17th, Sexual Omochao re-uploaded "I Hate This Windows Vista Tonight" from Justin's first album to YouTube,^[4] garnering over 64,000 views in 6 years (shown below, right).

On July 17th, 2015, Tupac Shacock uploaded a video to YouTube^[6] consisting of the entire JustinRPG discography, garnering over 89,000 views in 5 days (shown below). On June 24th, 2017, Katamari111 uploaded JustinRPG's entire discography to Archive.org.^[5]

Retreat From the Web and Internet Fame

As the songs became more popular, JustinRPG became the subject of comments criticizing him as well as trolling attempts. He quickly removed and hid his accounts from the public eye, leaving only a few open (including a Facebook page, his Eka's Portal^[8] account, and a Fur Affinity^[9] account).

On April 11th, 2012, Stefan Blitz published an article about JustinRPG to forces of geek.^[15]

On March 10th, 2013, user Something Vague started a Kiwi Farms thread ^[17] on JustinRPG.

Death Hoax and /r/JustinRPG

Years after his disappearance, rumors began circulating that Justin had died despite his continued posts to Eka's Portal. On October 6th, 2017, @ammnontet tweeted,^[10] "JustinRPG is alive and well. I thought he had actually, legitimately died, but he is still on this Earth" along with a screenshot of a then-new Facebook post from Justin (shown below).

On October 24th of the same year /r/JustinRPG^[11] was created, gaining just over 200 members in 3 years. On the same day, /u/of_azur_skies made a post to the subreddit^[12] claiming that Justin is in their class, and describes a story where he publicly announces his fetishes to the class (shown below). The story is unconfirmed, but another poster in the comments backs it up, claiming to be a friend of the OP.

Notable Posts / Reposts

On February 13th, 2019, literallywho uploaded a video to YouTube^[19] narrating posts from Justin's Facebook page, followed by another video^[20] doing the same thing on February 28th, garnering over 10,000 combined views in just under 2 years (shown below, left and right).

On February 6th, /u/andsteven posted "Their entire Facebook is like this" along with a screenshot of one of Justin's photoshops to /r/insanepeoplefacebook,^[14] garnering over 2,200 upvotes in a year (shown below, left). On September 18th, /u/MisprintPrince posted, "Whenever you’re depressed, remember that JustinRPG exists and he isn’t you" to /r/yiffinhell^[13] along with a post of Justin's, garnering over 3,200 upvotes in a comparable span of time (shown below, right).

On August 2nd, DeadwingDork live-streamed himself researching JustinRPG on YouTube, garnering over 249,000 views in over a year (shown below, left). On January 19th, 2020, Dirt's Sh*tposts uploaded a short comedic documentary on Justin to YouTube (shown below, right).

Personal Life

Justin Coolidge was born on August 30th, 1985 with Asperger syndrome. At one point, he allegedly attended the Kalamazoo Valley Community College. On May 24th, 2012, MrUjellyfish uploaded a video of JustinRPG meowing along to "Don't Stop Believing" at a bar to YouTube,^[18] offering one of the few pieces of video footage of Justin on the web (shown below).
