About

Michael Quinn is a social media influencer known for his collaborations with Joshua Block, aka World of T-shirts (WorldOfTshirts), on TikTok. His username is @michaelquinnjagg, formerly @thisismichaelquinn, and he's a New York City resident and the former owner of a hot dog company. Quinn began making videos with Block in 2023, leading to backlash from viewers as their relationship progressed because of the perception that Quinn enabled Block's alcoholism and took advantage of him for fame and clout. Quinn is Block's self-proclaimed mentor and manager. He often funds Block's vacations and nights out. Quinn is also known for orchestrating Joshua Block's meet-up with Daniel Larson in 2023. He's also been critical of the World of T-Shirts drink tracker.

With World Of T-Shirts

Quinn started collaborating with Joshua Block (aka World of T-shirts) in April 2022 when he stitched one of Block's videos. The original video has since been deleted along with Quinn's original TikTok account @thisismichaelquinn. However, the video was included in a compilation of Quinn and Block's history posted by YouTuber[5] Quinning on December 17th, 2023 (shown below).

The aforementioned video shows the earliest posts from Quinn's account that included Block, including a video posted on October 29th, 2022, when Quinn took Block out to dinner.

In March 2023, Quinn helped Block start The World of T-shirts Experience (Block's New York City tour).[5]

Backlash

Starting on November 13th, 2022, Redditors[6] on the /r/WorldOfTShirts subreddit started to post about Quinn, showing concern for Block. In late November 2022, some Redditors[7][8] called Quinn "creepy" and "scary," highlighting a night where Block spent the night at Quinn's apartment.

Viral videos that criticized Quinn predominantly surfaced in early 2023, like a stitch posted by TikToker[9] @feldmanshotdogs on March 30th, 2023, showing a recording of Quinn's recent Live in which he seemingly left Block drunk in a bar, receiving over 64,300 plays and 2,200 likes in a year (shown below, left).

On April 27th, 2023, TikToker[10] @crazyjamjam_ posted a video in which she called Quinn a sleazeball, gaining over 1.1 million plays and 81,600 likes in 11 months (shown below, right).

As early as November 2022, Michael Quinn helped Block post a "Message for Daniel Larson," basically posing a vague threat related to a boxing match between the two. In May 2023, Larson was in New York City and Quinn posted multiple since-deleted videos about Block meeting with Larson.[11]

On May 10th, 2023, Block posted a TikTok[12] showing that he and Larson were together in real life in a New York City Starbucks. In less than a day, the video gained over 2.2 million plays and 428,000 likes (shown below).
