Quanos

Overview

Quanos, @quanos2x or @idkquanos is a TikToker and content creator best known for his comedic NSFW content about sex, often using the On That Type Timing internet slang, which is a term used to describe the act of having intercourse. Quanos grew popular in April 2023 (before being banned) and later in 2024 after he inspired the spam comment "Disciples of Quanos" each time someone posts a video similar to his sexual-related jokes.

History

Quanos started posting on his TikTok^[1] page @quanos1 somewhere in late 2022 and early 2023, but the account was banned on April 15th, 2023, as he showed in a post^[2] (seen below, left) on his new account, @quanos2x, in April 2023. His earliest video from this account was uploaded on April 15th, 2023, in which he posted^[3] a comedy skit pretending that a sexual toy sang happy birthday to him after all his friends forgot about the date. The post (seen below, right) amassed over 15,000 likes and 1,9000 reposts in a year.

The TikToker gained a substantial following of over 523,000 on his main account over the next year, largely for his skit content in which he writes unhinged captions joking about sex, genitals or any type of sexual-related content.

Online Presence

Quanos' unhinged content started to go viral in June 2023. For example, he posted a video^[4] on June 7th, 2023, about the children's Three Pigs story performing oral sex on him after he "built a house strong enough" that the big bad wolf couldn't blow away. The post (seen below, left) amassed over 6 million plays and 921,000 likes in a year.

The creator's extensive internet slang vocabulary for sexual-related content inspired TikTok^[5] user @nofrizzsomerizz to post a video (seen below, right) titled "Quanos 101" in which she explained some of the terms used on Quanos' posts. The video, uploaded on May 7th, 2024, received more than 45,000 plays and 1,100 likes in two months.

Type Timing also known as Type of Timing or On That Type Timing is an internet slang term used to describe the act of having sex. The term was popularized on TikTok throughout 2023, largely by TikToker @quanos2x, but has been used on the app as early as November 2022, often in videos where users act out humping an object along with a comedic caption about being "on that type timing."

Disciple of Quanos

Disciple of Quanos is a spam comment on TikTok used when someone posts any skit similar to the sexual-related jokes Quanos posts on his account. For instance, on April 23rd, 2024, TikTok^[6] user @justplain06 posted a Chainsaw Man clip paired with the caption "The disciples of Quanos seeing him descend from the heavens to save them from divine punishment." The post (seen below) received more than 30,000 plays and 909 likes in four months.
