Scott Seiss is an American comedian best known for a series of TikTok videos in which he angrily responds to common, hypothetical complaints he gets while working in retail. His videos have gone viral several times on social media, raising his profile as a comedian and actor and eventually helping him land a role in the 2023 film Cocaine Bear.

History

Scott Seiss was born March 15th, 1994 in Dundalk, Maryland.[1] He began posting TikTok videos on July 16th, 2020 (first TikTok shown below).

On February 24th, 2021, he posted the first TikTok in his series in which he played an angry IKEA employee responding to customer complaints. His first TikTok gained over 9.8 million views in nearly two years on the platform (shown below, left). He continued posting TikToks like this for several months through 2021 (example from May 15th shown below, right).

On August 31st, 2022, JustNJE[4] reported he had been cast in the 2023 film Cocaine Bear. His appearance in the November 30th, 2022 trailer for the film delighted his fans on social media.

As of December 2022, Seiss has over 1.6 million followers on TikTok,[5] 690,000 followers on Instagram,[6] and 283,000 followers on Twitter.[7] Seis, and particularly his Ikea videos, have also been covered by multiple news publications, including Insider[2] and the Baltimore Sun.[3]
