Origin

On December 11th, 2019, TikToker @userhewidj6ya1 uploaded a video in which they shake a bottle of pills and chant "Democrats, please don't make me vote for Joe Biden" (shown below). The video garnered over 312,800 likes in four months.

Spread

On December 12th, 2019, TikTok @userhewidj6ya1's video was reposted to r/TikTokCringe^[1] by Redditor BaconTits_3000 and received over 240 points (93% upvoted) in four months. On January 2nd, 2020, Twitter user @brittanys reposted the video noting, "A new-ish trend I've noticed: Tiktok teens (many of whom are approaching or are of voting age) really don't want you to 'make them vote for Joe Biden.' The most popular version of this video has over 277k likes." (shown below). The tweet gained over 1,400 likes and 370 retweets in three months.

On March 3rd, TikToker @h_mkoczela uploaded a video in which a group yells the chant while someone dances (shown below, left). The video received over 200 likes in a month. The next day, @asherelliott uploaded another "cover" of the chant which garnered over 179,600 likes in a month. The video was then reposted to r/TikTokCringe^[2] by Redditor niqdisaster and accumulated over 880 points (91% upvoted) in a month.

On March 6th, YouTuber Matt Griffo uploaded "Please Don't Make Me Vote For Joe Biden Song" which received over 6,900 views in a month (shown below).
