The base image, created by dA user ~aquamizuko, shows the title of the Meme and 17 blank white boxes, each labeled with the 17 individual Pokemon types. The purpose of the meme is for other DeviantArt users to use the base and draw/showcase their favorite Pokemon of each type. The meme really has no purpose of "lulz" or "trolling" but simply a fun way to show off your art skills and your favorite Pokemon.
