On March 10th, 2022, TikToker^[1] @iconikfa posted a video set to an original sound mashing up audio from "Soap" by Melanie Martinez and a distorted version of the lyrics, "pussy tight, pussy clean, pussy fresh" from the song "Pon Mi" by Shenseea, gaining over 1.6 million views in two months (shown below).

Spread

On March 27th, 2022, YouTuber^[5] Liam Moore posted a video of Masha from Masha and the Bear lip dubbing to the sound, gaining over 470,000 views in two months (shown below).

The original sound gained significant attention in April 2022, inspiring over 37,000 videos by May. On April 16th, TikToker^[2] @ikanimut02825 posted a video showing a grainy closeup of the animated character Masha lip dubbing to the sound, gaining over 23.8 million views in a month (shown below, left). On April 20th, TikToker^[3] @procrastinavel posted a similar video where a crudely animated version of Britney Spears approaches the camera and lip dubs to it, gaining over 9.6 million views in three weeks (shown below, right).

On May 2nd, pop musician Bebe Rexha posted a video to TikTok^[4] using the sound to describe how she feels getting out of the shower, gaining over 3.6 million views in a week (shown below).
