The post spread over the course of the year, inspiring reactions and memes. That month, the text started to see use as a copypasta on X,[2][3] with the subject "Quackity" changed to other characters. On July 18th, 2021, X[4] user @sadcrib posted a screenshot of the post, writing, "BREAKING: Minecraft fans discover what facial expressions are 🤯," garnering over 18,900 likes in two years (shown below). On July 20th, u/illxsionwrld used the text as a copypasta on the /r/ConnorEatsPants[5] subreddit, garnering over 300 upvotes in the same span of time.
On September 13th, Instagram[6] user grandmas.butt posted a screenshot of the original post, garnering over 58,000 likes in two years. On September 16th, 2022, X[7] user @pixienaty posted a version of the copypasta that gained over 11,000 likes in a year (shown below, left). On June 3rd, 2023, X[8] user @CrypticaEXE posted a version about streamer Slimecicle, garnering over 8,000 likes in four months (shown below, right).
On October 23rd, X[9] user @ostonox quote-posted a video of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, writing, "can we please talk about the way taylor shows her reactions through expressions? when she's concerned or scared you can see it in her face :(," garnering over 5,600 likes in under a day (shown below).
