Realistic Troll Face or Realistic Trollface is a version of the Trollface meme and Rage Comics character designed in a hyperrealistic style to more closely resemble a real human being. Numerous realistic trollface renders were uploaded online throughout the 2010s and 2020s, with some created by people and others using AI.

In May 2026, a specific, AI-generated realistic trollface render by Instagram user Linus Ekenstam (linusekenstam) went viral on TikTok as the subject of memes, including a series of prank videos in which the trollface is emailed to or shown to teachers in unexpected ways. In the original video by Ekenstam, the realistic trollface says, "Hey! You might know me already, but I’m here to introduce myself as the most famous man on the internet. The main question though, what does a simple man like me do for a living?"

Origin

Realistic depictions of the Trollface meme have been uploaded online throughout the 2010s, including versions where real faces have been altered into the shape of the Trollface, and original pieces of art depicting the Trollface with human skin tones and features.^[1][2][3]

On November 22nd, 2025, Instagram^[10] user Linus Ekenstam posted an AI-generated video where a realistic Trollface recites, ""Hey! You might know me already, but I’m here to introduce myself as the most famous man on the internet. The main question though, what does a simple man like me do for a living?" The video gained over 43,000 likes and 540,000 views in six months.

In late April and early May 2026, Ekenstam's AI-generated rendering of the realistic Trollface started going viral on social media.

On April 20th, 2026, TikToker^[4] @tyymemes posted an image of his teacher looking at an email that contains a screenshot of the realistic Trollface from Linus Ekenstam's video, captioned, "Told teach to check his email," garnering over 1.4 million views in a month.

On May 5th, TikToker^[5] @yuarha_fimboy posted a video that, in the second half, features a cut to the realistic Trollface reciting, "Hey! You might know me already, but I’m here to introduce myself as the most famous man on the internet. The main question though, what does a simple man like me do for a living," gaining over 368,000 views in 10 days.

It is unclear if this is the true origin of the realistic Trollface saying this line, or if it was sourced from another user.

On May 9th, TikToker^[6] @mr_an109 posted an image of the realistic Trollface on their teacher's computer under the caption, "Yo teach check go guardian," garnering over 325,000 views in six days. GoGuardian is a digital platform used in schools and education.

On the same day, TikToker^[7] @andrzej.james.trz posted what appears ot be the full version of the "Hey, you might know me already" clip, but with diminished quality, gaining over 100,000 views in five days. The video appears to be generated with VEO AI.

On May 12th, 2026, TikToker^[8] @m0dits posted a meme that features a Bust Down edit of the realistic Trollface, garnering over 1.8 million views in three days.

On May 14th, TikToker^[9] @theorangebricks posted a video of a student pranking somebody in class by making the realistic Trollface appear on their computer screen, garnering over 250,000 views in a day.
