On June 27th, 2025, X^[1] user @TAKEOVERWW posted an AI-generated image of Keanu Reeves flexing an expensive watch, a set of grillz and a ring, writing, "Bust down Keanu." The photo is intentionally blurry and low-resolution to make it look more real. The image garnered over 291,000 likes and 33,000 reposts in five days.

On June 28th, 2025, Instagram^[2] user hoodville posted the Keanu Sleeze meme with an additional comment by them, writing, "John Drip," a reference to Reeves' John Wick films, garnering over 167,000 likes in four days.

On June 29th, X^[3] user @ayeejuju then reposted the meme, garnering over 29,000 likes in three days.

Later that day, X^[4] user @uncle_rjs posted a version of the meme in which the photo of Keanu has been made less dark and more in focus, garnering over 88,000 likes in three days.
