Regitube is a fan-made Pokémon based on a TikTok video of a man wearing light-blue life tubes all over his body, which looked similar to the Regi Pokémon. The video was originally posted in August 2023 but resurfaced in November of the same year in a series of fan edits and fan-made interpretations on Twitter / X and TikTok.

Origin

On August 29th, 2023, TikTok^[1] user @thetubeshack uploaded a video (shown below) of an employee trying to hold as many life tubes all over his body. The video amassed over 3 million plays and 600,000 likes in four months.

Spread

The video was shared on November 23rd, 2023, on X^[2] by the Pokémon fan page @lightplatinumds. The video has also a Pokémon battle soundtrack playing, which amassed more than 4 million views and 24,000 likes in three days.

Shortly after the Pokémon fan page post, users started to call the man wearing light-blue life tubes "Regitube," which is a version of the "Regis" legendary Pokémon of Hoenn, Sinnoh and Galar. On November 24th, 2023, X^[3] user @TheYisusOne posted a fanmade video of "Regitube" as if he was in a Pokémon game (shown below). The post received roughly 9 million views and 10,000 likes in two days.
