On January 21st, 2021, Twitter user @SilentAmuse^[1] tweeted, "Repeat after me: I am not smarter than Joe Biden. I am not smarter than Kamala Harris. I am not smarter than Nancy Pelosi. I am not smarter than James Carville. But if I l stand back and watch and learn, I will be smarter than I am." The tweet racked up a ratio of 7,200 quote-tweets to 930 retweets as the majority of people engaging with the post mocked it or parodied it.

After @SilentAmuse's post, Twitter users quickly parodied it by replacing the figures he listed, turning their tweet into a snowclone. For example, user @Dawchestuh^[2] posted a parody listing multiple YouTube critics like Angry Video Game Nerd and The Nostalgia Critic, gaining over 1,100 retweets and 9,000 likes (shown below, left). User @see_em_play_^[3] made the joke using lyrics from Chumbawumba's "Tubthumping," gaining over 540 retweets and 5,100 likes (shown below, right).
