Ryan Creamer's Pornhub Channel is a parody Pornhub account created by CollegeHumor writer Ryan Creamer which he uses to post wholesome, safe-for-work videos to the pornography-streaming website. The account received media coverage after it was discovered by Twitter users.

Origin

On October 12th, 2018, comic and CollegeHumor writer Ryan Creamer discovered he could get verified as a PornHub poster by clicking the "Work for Us" tab on the website.^[1] He then uploaded a joke video titled "I TUCK YOU IN AFTER YOU HAVE CUM" featuring a fully-clothed Creamer doing as the title suggests (YouTube embed shown below).

Spread

On November 1st, 2018, screenshots of Creamer's thumbnails appeared on r/WholesomeMemes^[2] gaining over 10,000 points (shown below). On November 22nd, Tumblr user Awesomacious posted the thumbnails to Tumblr (shown below, right).^[4]

The account gained national attention following a January 30th, 2019 tweet by @silicondomme^[3] which featured screenshots of multiple Creamer videos that gained over 44,000 retweets and 131,000 likes (shown below, left). The viral success of the tweet led to coverage from Buzzfeed,^[1] Daily Dot^[5] and News.com.au^[6] Creamer responded to the fame by thanking his supporters in a tweet that gained over 560 retweets and 3,800 likes (shown below, right).

Retirement

On October 12th, 2020, Ryan Creamer tweeted^[7] his retirement. He wrote, "Today, two years to the day from when I started it, I am ending my pornhub career. These videos added so much fun to my life and I hope they did for you too. thank you all for watching. Now, i leave you the way all porn must inevitably end." The tweet received more than 6,000 like and 700 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below).
