Simon Screaming, also known as Simon Chipmunk Scream or Simon Pointing Behind Him, refers to a series of TikTok audios and memes using distorted high-pitched audio of a man screaming while receiving oral sex as if he's Simon from the 2007 Alvin and the Chipmunks live-action movie. The meme surfaced in early July 2024 on Instagram, inspired by the viral Who's Getting the Best Head? meme, accompanied by Alvin's "I Feel Like P. Diddy With Fur" quote and usually added as a soundbite in TikTok photo slideshow content.

On July 6th, 2024, Instagram user @laughs4one^[1] uploaded a scene from the 2007 Alvin and the Chipmunks live-action movie in which Alvin mentions his costume makes him feel like "P Diddy with fur," which was later reposted by user @naixtee^[2] on July 26th, who added a soundbite of Simon screaming as if he's receiving oral sex. The video (seen below) amassed roughly 13 million views and 1 million likes in three months.

The soundbite used in the memes comes from a video titled "Who’s getting the best head?" showing Alvin and the Chipmunks making noises like they are receiving oral sex. Although the creator of the video is unknown, YouTube^[3] user @coolEzequiel123 uploaded the earliest known version on August 2nd, 2024, amassing over 438,000 views and 20,000 likes in two months.

Memetic content using Simon's screaming sound was popularized on TikTok in October 2024 in which users often edit audio from lewd videos and turn them into high-pitched screams to mimic the chipmunk's voice.

For example, on October 7th, 2024, TikTok^[4] user @ttuffy posted a clip from the 2007 Alvin and the Chipmunks live-action movie, adding a sound of Simon screaming, "Take it out" (seen below), which received more than 655,000 likes in a week.

On October 2nd, 2024, TikTok^[5] user @bestviralclipsjustforyou uploaded another scene from the Alvin and the Chipmunks film, adding a new soundbite in which Simon appears to be in an intense lewd situation. The video (seen below) received roughly 876,000 plays and 142,000 likes in two weeks.
