My Cat Hates You

My cat hates you is a internet site that was formed in late 2000/ early 2001 that depicts cat images with their name on top of the image and a caption on the bottom.

About
Jim Edgar and his friend Alex worked for Microsoft in late 2000 when Alex came home with a big project to work on. His orange tabby cat Pushkin showed Alex his displeasure by 'carving him up real bad' in Jim's words and 'giving me a savage, brutal, unwarranted attack upon my person!' in Alex's words. Alex and Jim registered the site mycathatesyou.com after deciding this attack 'had to be documented in case he disappeared without a trace'. The site went 'viral' in the sector of Microsoft Alex worked in. The original MCHY site was one huge HTML file coded by Alex, but Jim later turned it into a .NET due to all the pictures they were receiving. Jim wholly owned the site from 2004 to 2012, due to Alex having a stint of working in a Swiss clothing company in Moscow, Russia.

Bad Cat book and Calendar
The bad cat book was published in 2004 and it depicted all new MCHY pictures, quotes/captions, names, ages and hobbies. There were 244 cats. They release a yearly wall calendar and a page-a-day calendar on the same concept.
