The roller coaster "Mine Train" at China's Foreigner City amusement park built by Beijing Chen Jinying Amusement Equipment was featured on the company's website. A spinning statue of Jesus can be seen as a scenic element in the video. Later, on a live stream by YouTuber GP to Enthusiast the video of the coaster was shown. During a live voice-chat discussion on Discord, a Discord user can be heard saying "There's a Spinning Jesus in the middle of this ride!", prompting several other users to create images depicting Spinning Jesus, most commonly showing the statue near various roller coasters. A few videos have also been made, such as SFOGManiac's "Spinning Jesus Meme Compilation" and CucumberMan06's "SPINNING JESUS BROKE THE ROLLER COASTER DATABASE".
