Streamers React to Agricultural Technology, also known as Streamers React to Farming, refers to a series of parody streamer reaction clips showing Twitch and Kick influencers like Kai Cenat, Adin Ross and Caseoh reacting to modern farming technology, among other videos. The trend originated on TikTok and Instagram in late 2023, started by user @realeaterforever.

Origin

On December 18th, 2023, Instagram^[1] user @realeaterforeverr posted a video that showed Kick streamer Adin Ross reacting to "Cows grazing fertile farmland," gaining over 19,500 likes in three weeks (shown below).

On December 20th, the creator also posted the video to his TikTok^[2] account @realeaterforever, gaining over 4.9 million plays and 211,600 likes in three weeks.

Spread

On December 22nd, 2023, TikToker^[3] @realeaterforever posted a follow-up to his original video that showed streamer Kai Cenat reacting to irrigation technology, gaining over 1.6 million plays and 179,800 likes in 20 days (shown below, left).

Soon after, others began replicating the format, such as TikToker^[4] @cyzl on December 22nd, 2023, whose video of Adin Ross reacting to irrigation technology gained over 1.5 million plays and 210,400 likes in 20 days (shown below, right).

The parodies became increasingly absurd going into late December 2023. For instance, on December 24th, 2023, TikToker^[5] @coconutpong posted a video of Kai Cenat reacting to the fall of Yugoslavia, earning over 772,000 plays and 139,000 likes in 18 days (shown below).
