About
Dog Nigga or Dog Ningen is a manga series written by Dh Animation and illustrated by SerbianHero about an anthropomorphic dog named Rex born after a homeless man forced himself upon a dog, whose ultimate goal is to find his father and rape him. The first volume of the manga was released in 2019 and was followed by three other volumes. It has gone viral several times throughout the 2020s for its shocking and humorous title and content.
History
The first volume of Dog Nigga was released in 2019.[1] Since then, four volumes of Dog Nigga, also known as Dog Ningen, have been released for sale through the dogniggaofficial.com[2] website.
On February 24th, 2024, the artist announced the release of chapter 51 of Dog Nigga in an X[7] post garnering over 2,700 likes in two days.
Online Presence
Every chapter of Dog Nigga is available to read on MangaDex.[3] As of February 2024, the creator of the manga is active on X[10] under the handle @Chief30k.
Dog Nigga has gone viral several times throughout the 2020s for its content and title. On January 25th, 2019, YouTuber[4] Satsuki The Savage posted a review of the first five chapters of the manga, garnering over 34,000 views in five years (shown below).
On February 3rd, 2020, Redditor u/Lordolox posted a screenshot of a webpage describing the manga to /r/dankmemes,[5] writing, "sounds like an interesting manga," garnering over 17,000 upvotes in four years. On March 23rd, u/Killme566 posted a panel from the manga to /r/animenocontext,[6] garnering over 1,600 upvotes in the same span of time (shown below).
On February 18th, 2024, X[8] user @JujutsuKaisenIN posted a thread consisting of panels from Dog Nigga, writing, "Dog Ningen Manga is actually insane and unironically good," garnering over 45,000 likes in a week (shown below, left). On February 20th, X[9] user @Anime_sureal included a panel from the manga in a thread of surreal manga panels, garnering over 300 likes in six days (shown below, right).
