About

"Foodfight!" is a 2012 computer animated children's film produced by Threshold Animation Studios and directed by Larry Kasanoff, who is also known for producing the film adaption of the video game series Mortal Kombat. The film has received negative criticism for the animation, voice acting, CGI, and extreme product placement and was panned by critics, and the budget has been in question as well, and is estimated to be $65,000,000, but the film has gained a cult following along with other films such as The Room

History

The movie was in production in 2002 and was planned to be released the same year, but due to production problems, copyright issues, and someone stealing hard-drives that containted the original film in what the director called an act of "industrial espionage", it was pushed back to a 2012 release date, when the film was released, it was a huge flop at the box office, grossing only $73,706 US Dollars
