About
GTFO is an upcoming co-operative horror first-person shooter game developed by independent game studio 10 Chambers Collective. Released in late 2019 on Steam's Early Access platform, the game was received positively for its atmosphere and gameplay.
History
GTFO was developed by independent Swedish game company 10 Chambers Collective, comprised of a number of developers including former employees of Overkill Software, known for developing the Payday series. The game was officially unveiled during the 2017 Game Awards.
On December 9th, 2019, GTFO was released on Steam's Early Access platform.
Reception
On Steam, the game has an 89% positive rating from over 6,000 users. Gameplay and atmosphere were generally praised though criticisms involved a lack of in-game voice-chat and matchmaking as of writing, with the developers stating that such features will be implemented later on.
